Steven Robert Sowinski
has enjoyed a career as a trumpet soloist spanning some twenty years. His performances have taken him across the U.S. as well as Europe, performing in different venues with such ensembles as The Chicago Baroque Ensemble, The Denver Brass, The Winston-Salem Symphony and The Mid-Sussex Symphonia in England. He studied trumpet performance at DePaul University in Chicago, and has studied privately  with members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and The Chicago Lyric Opera Orchestra. Although he has played with many large ensembles, his first love has always been as a soloist in smaller ensembles, allowing the trumpet a major role in his performances. He has also enjoyed a long association with internationally recognized master trumpet craftsman Mr. Paul Jeninga, Winfield, Illinois, who for over 20 years has hand crafted each trumpet played by Mr. Sowinski.

Vicki Parrello Sowinski started her performance career as a pianist for several ensembles in Chicago, including performances with her mother, who was a concert pianist as well. Vicki studied piano performance at Indiana University under Enrica Cavallo-Gulli,and performed several recitals while attending IU. For the past 15 years, she has joined Steven in his performances across the country, performances which have formed the catalyst for what now has become TwiceOne.
